Role: Websphere Lead Location: Remote Experience: 8-10 years

Contract: C2C/ W2 Long Term Contract

Technology Stack: 

Languages: Java 11 & Upwards (including new features), JavaScript 
Frameworks: Spring, Apache, Hibernate,?Angular etc. 
App Servers: Tomcat, KAFKA, Docker, Kubernetes, Websphere, MQ. 
APIs: REST, SOAP, Streaming. 
Cloud Technologies: Google Cloud is a plus. 
SDLC process: Agile – Scrum 
Techniques/Environment: SOA, Test Driven Development, multi-tenant 
Engineering Tools: Confluence, Jenkins, Git. 

 
Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred 
8-10+ years of relevant experience 
Knowledge and experience in Agile Methodology. 
Experience performing server-side Java programming in a WebSphere/Tomcat environment. 
Experience building SOAP/REST web services using Java Technologies. 
Experience developing event driven Microservices and with streaming capabilities. 
Experience containerizing and deploying Microservices and container orchestration. 
Demonstrated knowledge of OOP and SOA principles, and design patterns. 
Experience working with Spring IOC and Spring Boot 2. 
Demonstrated knowledge of J2EE server technologies including XML, JMS, and JAX-WS. 
Experience working with open source frameworks, such as Apache, Google, or Netflix. 
Experience working on High-Volume, High-Availability Transactional applications.
