Job Description:

·         Gather requirements from Users and analyze the data by querying the data sources such as Tables, views/Stored procedures etc.

·         Involve in designing the data models, Configure and deploy the application on Qlikview server and Import data from different sources like Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, XML files, DVDs and flat files using OLE DB/ODBC.

·         Actively participate in meetings, Collaborate with Architects/Administrators. Coordinate with other developers on the team to build and share knowledge. Collaborate with application analysts and report/dashboard end-users to analyze, provides specifications, and document project.

·         Work on designing the Data Model and implement Star Schema for better optimization. Develop different complex models as per given user requirement without any closed loops, Synthetic tables, and ambiguous relationships.

·         Create daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly Nprinting reports according to customer requirements.

·         Optimize existing data models like changing load scripts to load data in an optimized way to achieve a reduction of loading time, simplified complex expressions in the front end and improve layout structure.

·         Responsible for initial setup and end to end development of Qlikview applications.

·         Address performance issues by pushing business logics on top of the database layer.

·         Handle the large datasets, use incremental load to manage large files.

·         Publish dashboards on Access point. Deploy QVW’s on the production server, Create, reload and Distribution tasks on QlikView server/publisher.

·         Research and troubleshoot technical problems and provide ongoing QlikView consultation to the development team.

·         Implement Application Level Section Access and configure security rules on Qlikview streams to control user actions over qlikview applications.

·         Provide adhoc reports using qlikview and source tables.
