Roles and Responsibilities
5 years of experience with Snowflake SnowSQL and writing use defined functions
Ability to develop ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflake, SnowSQL
Ability to write SQL queries against Snowflake.
Ability to develop scripts (Java, Python etc.) to do Extract, Load and Transform data
Ability to provide production support for Data Warehouse issues such data load problems, transformation/translation problems etc.
Ability to understand data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done
Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based and on premise technologies
Experience with AWS EMR, AWS EC2, AWS IAM & S3, AWS Cloud Formation, DB2, Oracle, Hive.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins
