Job Title: Cognos Developer Location: NYC NY Duration: Contract Job Description: • 5+ Years’ experience in BI solutions designing and developing using Cognos • Strong understanding and ability in working with the Cognos Business Intelligence technical stack, including Framework Manager modeling • Experience in working on large Data Warehousing environments • Experience in report & SQL performance tuning. • Understanding of basic manufacturing business terminologies & processes • Basic knowledge of OLAP (CUBE Modeling) and DMR (Dimensionally Modeled Relational Data) Preferred skill sets: The ideal candidate should have basic finance or accounting knowledge. Should know what is general ledger and what it is used for. What is counterparty, exposure, collateral. Again all basics. Better if he has worked at an investment bank.
