We have 4 open positions - 1. Junior level positions with 2 to 5 years’ experience: 2 2. Senior level positions with 5 to 1o years’ experience: 2 Role: DevOps Engineer Location: Mississauga, ON or Downtown Toronto, ON Duration: Contract Responsibilities: 1. Continuous Integration & Continuous delivery practices, process and tools 2. Good knowledge on planning tools (Jira & HP ALM) Good knowledge on at least 2 tools mandatory. 3. Good understanding of SDLC and has development skills with Java/.Net 4. Expertise in developing plug-ins 5. Expertise in orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo 6. Expertise in SCM, build and code quality tools such as SonarQube, Jacoco, Git, SVN, Bit-bucket, Gerrit, Gradle, ANT, Maven 7. Good knowledge on release automation process and tools such as IBM Udeploy, URelease and XebiaLab 8. Expertise in artefact management tools as Nexus or Artifactory 9. Scripting knowledge on any language such as Ruby, Python/ Groovy, Shell scripts - Bash and PowerShell 10. Experience with Configuration Management tools like Puppet is must. 11. Experience in monitoring tools like Nagios, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, new relic etc. 12. Experience in BDD framework like Cucumber, Fitnesse & etc. 13. Knowledge on Build automation, trunk based development, automated unit testing 14. Experience in Linux/Unix/VM 15. Good to have knowledge working on Datacenter infrastructure 16. Experience in Agile methodology is preferred 17. Strong work ethic, positive attitude and excellent communication 18. Good understanding of Linux, networks and distributed applications. 19. Create JIRA projects, queries and reports as needed. 20. Working experience on Application Servers Jboss/WebSphere/Web logic & Web servers Apache/Tomcat/Ngi 21. Work directly with agile teams to understand needs and provide guidance. 22. Troubleshoot broken builds and deployments; work with developers to quickly resolve build issues. 23. Write programs and scripts to package and deliver products as needed. 24. Create and deploy tools that will unite, automate and monitor the build process. 25.
