We have 4 open positions - ? Junior level positions with 2 to 5 years’ experience: 2 ? Senior level positions with 5 to 10 years’ experience: 2 Role: Automation Engineer Location: Mississauga, ON or Downtown Toronto, ON Duration: Contract Responsibilities: ? A strong ability to effectively communicate with clients and other team members – Business and Development teams with high attention to detail ? Experience working in Agile/ Waterfall methodologies ? Excellent knowledge on Software Development Lifecycle – SDLC, Testing lifecycle, Defect management process ? Test management tools: HP ALM, JIRA ? Manual and Automation testing – HP UFT or Selenium Web driver ? Test automation frameworks- Keyword driven, Data driven and Hybrid frameworks, BDD framework ? Junit, TestNG, Maven, ANT ? Develop test strategies and test plans ? Design and creates automation Test Scripts based on the manual test cases ? Executes tests to compare results with requirements, to verify test requirements, to identify defects, and to ensure compliance (e.g., systems, functionality, etc.). ? Executes and validates test set-up to ensure the environment is ready for testing. Nice to have: ? API testing for SOAP/ REST webservices, Gherkin - Cucumber ? Agile/ testing certification
