The Oracle Business Intelligence Developer works in the Information Technology department to document the analytical requirements and develop Oracle BI Analytics, Dashboards, reports and repository. The incumbent should bring a mindset of strong data presentation and report development skills. The incumbent works with customer, testers, and data warehouse developers to develop reporting dashboard. The incumbent should have strong development skills of building OBIEE RPD, BI Publisher Reports, Interactive dashboards and drill down reports plus other reporting tools like FRS. Position Responsibilities: The Oracle Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for the following areas: • Scope, develop, and deliver new business intelligence and analytics solutions, including static/dynamic dashboards, and interactive reports, charts, and graphs based on customer needs and inputs • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery • Work with stakeholders across organization to build knowledge of the organization, products, and processes in order to understand where opportunities for BI may add value • Provide user and production support when necessary • Work as part of a team, requiring communications with team and others across the organization • Oracle BI packages in Oracle fusion SaaS(ERP) platforms (OTBI and BI Publisher) • Finding ways to leverage existing Oracle BI/analytics solutions and services to create new offerings to business. • Consults with key stakeholders to understand requirements, develops business processes and executes plan to meet needs, influence decisions and facilitate roadmap and governance activities • Understand the business and controls impact of each work stream (Oracle SaaS Taleo, FIN, HCM, Payroll, PPM, BI) on all facets of the organization and existing technology applications • Hire, train, and supervise resources and ensure that team meets SLAs to support the needs of our business stakeholders • Ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy regulations and policies as they relate to data. Minimum Requirements: • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in a directly related area, during which both hands-on and leadership capabilities have been clearly demonstrated • Minimum of 1 years of experience on Oracle Cloud SaaS with HCM/PAY, FIN and PPM or with Oracle eBusiness suite experience • Experience with Oracle Data Integration ideally around on-perm and cloud based data integration strategies, Cloud and Business Intelligence products & applications. • Proficient in one or more Oracle products: Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Business Intelligence Technologies and applications (BICS, OTBI, Oracle R, Oracle BI Appliances, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Oracle Golden Gate). • Experience providing support on data quality components during the implementation of the solution architecture. • Experience providing technical recommendations for optimized data access and retention for the data warehouse. • Demonstrated experience of building interactive dashboards with drill down capabilities. • Demonstrated experience building RPD to support OBIEE • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. • Provide technical expertise during requirements gathering and analysis, document technical designs and support manuals. • Should have good analytical, communication, Inter personal and client interfacing skills. • Excellent data analysis skills and ability to reconcile the reports with source applications and data warehouse • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data related issues and systems related issues • Ability to communicate effectively with remote Developers and Quality Analysts • Clear understanding of data warehouse and BI concepts • Knowledge/Experience working with Oracle EBS (HR, Finance & Payroll) is mandatory • Eagerness to mentor junior staff. • Capable of building and presenting financial reporting solutions • Experience with Oracle Database programming required • Should have strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts like Star schema, snowflake schema, Dimension and Fact table • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related course of study. • Must have legal right to work in the US NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
