Business Analyst with Property and Casualty (P&C) experience:

Roles and responsibilities

• Business requirements
• Functional specifications
• Process flow diagrams and other diagrams
• Providing comprehensive research, analysis and recommendations for proposed solutions
• Actively participating in peer reviews/inspections for requirements, estimates, and specifications; providing feedback and guidance to others
• Leading the development of supporting documentation and/or training
• Providing training and support as needed as subject matter expert to internal and external customers
• Initiating innovative approaches and ideas for process improvement
• Developing an in-depth knowledge of Insurity's software applications, data structures, architecture, and processing capabilities
• Demonstrating system capabilities to customers as needed
• Accurately estimating analyst work efforts
• Providing support for testing activities

Skills/experience:

• Experience in P&C Claims business analysis - Mandatory 
  
• Experience with Property/Casualty Insurance strongly preferred
• Experienced with Agile SCRUM methodology and business analysis methodologies; working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
