Business Analyst with Property
and Casualty (P&C) experience:
Roles and responsibilities
- Business requirements
- Functional specifications
- Process flow diagrams and other
diagrams
- Providing comprehensive research,
analysis and recommendations for proposed solutions
- Actively participating in peer
reviews/inspections for requirements, estimates, and specifications; providing
feedback and guidance to others
- Leading the development of supporting
documentation and/or training
- Providing training and support as
needed as subject matter expert to internal and external customers
- Initiating innovative approaches
and ideas for process improvement
- Developing an in-depth knowledge
of Insurity's software applications, data structures, architecture, and
processing capabilities
- Demonstrating system capabilities
to customers as needed
- Accurately estimating analyst work
efforts
- Providing support for testing
activities
Skills/experience:
- Experience in P&C Claims
business analysis - Mandatory
- Experience with Property/Casualty
Insurance strongly preferred
- Experienced with Agile SCRUM
methodology and business analysis methodologies; working knowledge of business
analysis documentation standards.
- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented
and organized
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced
environment
- In-depth knowledge of the Software
