Job Title: DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer for the Technology + Innovation Lab – a new group within Enbridge tasked with positively disrupting its core businesses with innovative and impactful products using advanced technologies – will work closely with the Digital team members to help increase the speed of delivery, improve quality of codes, and optimize processes. Responsible for understanding the bottlenecks of various processes, working with digital members to improve them, and improving the experience of developers overall. This role will bring distinctive capabilities driving competitive advantage for Enbridge by applying this deep understanding within a complex, cross-functional environment to drive significant business impact

• Brings deep functional expertise to ensure large-scale business impact of the digital products being built and drive competitive advantage for Enbridge as a whole

• Advises Tech Leads and developers of various teams on assessment of existing problems and development of process improvement solutions; ensures efficient coordination of technical and administrative resources; and ensures coordination with other internal and/or external stakeholders

• Identifies bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes

• Participates in planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects

• Executes on plan by building coding standardizations and automating processes for the organization

• Leads employee research related to pain points in the coding and development process

• Collaborates with the rest of DevOps team to deliver consistent and holistic solution to the organization
