Position: Talend Developer

Job Description:

Must-Have Skills:

·         Minimum experience: 5 – 6 years

·         Using “Talend Big Data Platform” preferably 7.x on AWS

·         The role would be working on Development 70% and production support 30%

·         Using Talend to create Spark Java code and running on AWS EMR.

·         With processing large deep nested XML and JSON files.

·         Linux skills

·         Agile knowledge is a must and knowledge on AWS technologies, primarily S3, RedShift, EMR, etc.

·         Experience in Big data(Spark/Python/Hive/Oozie) technologies is preferred.

·         Knowledge and experience of working on SQL Queries and database scripting (procedures, functions, jobs, physical data model creation) is must.

·         Migration project experience will be preferred. With migrating large enterprise data projects from on-prem to AWS.

·         Work with business users to define and understand business requirements related to changes and enhancements of existing enterprise data warehouse.

·         Understand existing ETL tool business logic/rules, data sources and convert same ETL jobs to Talend arch and resolve production issues with ETL workflows

·         Develop technical documentation, including requirements documents, process overviews, data models, data flow.

·         At least 5 Years of Proficient experience in designing and developing of mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows, and deploying integration solutions using Talend tool

·         Strong experience in performance tuning of ETL processes and Transformation and loading data from various sources like Oracle and Flat files, in Talend

·         Experience in Development, Support, Maintenance, and Enhancement projects.

·         Experience in preparing test scripts and test cases to validate data and maintaining data quality
