Job Title: Hadoop Big Data Engineer

Description: Big Data Engineer with AWS EMR

• Support enterprise Big Data platforms in AWS including EMR and Hadoop
• Strongly influence our team’s application architecture, coding standards, and quality of service monitoring
• Deploy AWS resources and code changes with our CI/CD pipeline using Python and Terraform.
• Participate in periodic team on call rotations supporting all our Big Data platforms

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience required.
• 5+ years of experience with Big Data solutions such as EMR, Spark, and Hadoop.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and automation practices.
• Java programming background.
